    What do you mean off-topic? Isn’t AIG doing something analogous–if much less heroic!–when they borrow “from the Fed CP window to pay down the Fed Credit Facility Debt?”

    This is another example of the A 11 style of play that is growing in parts of high school football, and a bit of college football. The NFL’s “wildcat” play is the only example I know in pro football, but it will grow there, also.

    The link to economics is that it is a great example of innovation in using resources (in this case, football players) more effectively in competition. Look at the video again. This play was practiced. The faux-receiver knows just where to look for the real receiver, and their spacing is set to make the play work. Innovation and team work – these are the qualities that will get us out of the recession – not bail outs.
