NCAA basketball: Round 4

Sixteen entries in the
2008 NCAA Bracket Econbrowser Challenge
correctly picked all of the Final Four teams in the NCAA basketball tournament, including our two leaders who also correctly picked all of the Elite Eight finalists.

Team Rankings seems still to favor Kansas, though I must say North Carolina has been looking pretty good.

We sit on opposite sides of the bench this week for all the marbles, Mr. Parsley! This’ll be exciting. Thanks to our hosts for this little event.

We do indeed see the future differently and I agree that it will be extremely exciting! I’m a bit concerned about my marginal propensity to lean on the side of KU but we shall see… Thanks to hosts as well.

Guess this proves you can’t beat the science. I spend hours upon hours watching college hoop for months, and I’m not even on the first page. By comparison, Mr. Hamilton’s benchmark is sitting in 11th.
Suppose this means I’m as doomed at trying to be an Econometician as my Badgers were on Friday night against Davidson. Ugh.

Bill Self sometimes freezes and is slow to correct strategies when the opposing team gains control. Roy Williams used to do the same thing but has now evolved. North Carolina will beat the Jayhawks due to superior coaching.
