Remember when Fox Business News would complain endlessly “business uncertainty” about Dems/Obama when they were passing Dodd-Frank Act? Now not a word as Trump fires independent Fed Chairs and BLS officials.
BTW – why is Trump placing a 50% tariff on Indian goods for as he says “buying Russian oil” when the trump team/Exxon Mobil was having secret conversations about U.S. buying Russian oil and giving the Russians the oil infrastructure to do so: https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/us-russian-officials-discussed-energy-deals-alongside-latest-ukraine-peace-talks-2025-08-26/
Also Trump has to have the dumbest foreign policy in U.S. history to alienate Canada, Mexico, EU, and now India – India “is currently the fifth-largest consumer market and is projected to become the world’s third-largest by 2027 or 2030, behind the US and China. India’s consumer market is rapidly growing, driven by a large, young population, rising incomes, urbanization, and increasing digital adoption.”
baffling
so a grand jury came back and threw out the case against sandwich guy. it appears in the real america, the average joe believes if the president sends in armed federal troops with an intent to instigate issues, if a citizen confronts those troops they will not get thrown into jail with bogus felony charges. trump ONCE AGAIN LOST in the courts.

They will come back and try him for a misdemeanor.

Brings to mind Judge Sol Wachtler’s quote, “A good prosecutor could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.”
It seems that Bondi is not a good prosecutor. Keep in mind that the grand jury presentation is all one sided. The prosecutor is the only who who gets to speak. There is no other lawyer present in the room at any time, not even a judge. It’s just the prosecutor and the jury. The burden of proof is merely “probable cause.” If a prosecutor can’t make a case with no opponent in the room, the jury must think they are lying.
And meanwhile in DC district attorney Jeanine Pirro (and Fox News commentator) has failed to get an indictment against a women for assault of an officer three times! This is a national record. It just never happens.
Jurors are fighting back against the tyranny. It would be nice if Democratic politicians backed them up and did a little fighting of their own.

Problem is, it wasn’t a ham sandwich. Subs are harder to indict.
