“11th Annual West Coast Workshop in International Finance”

Here’s the call for papers — from my experience, a great event for exchanging ideas and findings about international finance/open economy macro, this year taking place on April 10th.

Call for papers and workshop announcement
Submission Deadline: January 16

The 11th annual West Coast Workshop in International Finance will be held at Santa Clara
University on Friday, April 10th. (Past workshop agendas can be seen here.)

We encourage submissions in all areas of open-economy macroeconomics and international
finance. Policy-relevant theoretical work, empirical research, computational work, and
historical approaches are all welcome. Each accepted paper will be assigned a discussant.

Please submit full papers using this form. Note that for co-authored papers, the submitting author is expected to present. The deadline for paper submissions is Friday, January 16th

The selection committee will choose the papers to be presented at the conference and will
notify presenters by mid-February. There is no registration fee, however paper presenters will
be responsible for their own travel expenses.
