To date (1pm CT), gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany has not made a comment on the original Section 338 tariffs to be levied against Canada, nor this mornings threat to increase tariff rates on automobiles.
I don’t believe that this president understands the total costs to Americans, we’re hurting due to astronomical grocery prices, gas prices that hurt local and long distance drivers going to work. Businesses who pass along their higher fuel costs. Now we’re going to pay dearly for imported goods from Canada.

Tiffany needs every vote he can get. He and Crowley are neck-and-neck in recent polls. If MAGA numb-skulls stay home on election day, he’s sunk. If swing voters blame Tiffany for the toddler-in-chief’s latest tantrum, he’s sunk.
Tiffany’s handlers are probably scribbling furiously, trying to find words that absolve him of guilt by assocoation without riling up the MAGA hive. Miracles take time, don’t ya know.
Can’t wait for the next batch of polls.
Tiffany doesn’t want to talk about his signature federal legislation achievement H.R. 1 – H.R. 1 cuts federal healthcare funding for Wisconsin, adds strict work rules for BadgerCare, reduces aid for immigrant families, and rolls back clean energy tax credits that might have cut your utility bill. The House version of the bill that Tom fully supported included a provision that would have limited local and state oversight of Data Centers.
Ah = those were heady days in Washington DC – right Tom? Now you have to come back to Wisconsin and pretend you care about the people of the state.

Since March 2025, Canadian energy exports have faced a 10% tariff. Why are you and Trump increasing diesel costs? Your ads show you standing next to a cow – you must know how much diesel it takes to run farm equipment – right?
