You know what I want to say here, right Menzie?? I mean, honest to G*d I don’t mean to be petty or spiteful, but you know I can’t control myself.

“Law Symposium…….. Why wasn’t Neera Tanden invited?!?!?! /sarc

A terrific chance for fund raising from Arabs for UW Law School tossed into the wind. Or even a Hillary Clinton PAC. Gosh

Monetary policy independence. One economist among the panelists. Somebody doesn’t understand how this thing works. Or, give the host of the conference, doesn’t want to admit to understanding.

Don’t let the lawyers get away with nonsense.

Wow, and I thought I was cynical. Uhm, I say this with super super respect to you MD, “interdisciplinary” isn’t so horrible is it?? I’m gonna try to stay open to this. I hope the speeches are streamed. and then we can decide. If they aren’t, the students pay high tuition and the Madison Wisc. Uni and the students have that right as well. I’m kinda a jerk sometimes, But I will try to be a good boy after this one. And hear it out. Truly the hard one for me will be the Yao Yang lecture, cuz I have more personal issues there.
