Question: What did you mean when you said you’re prepared to send ‘more than the National Guard’ into American cities?
TRUMP: if I want to enact a certain act, I’d be allowed to do whatever I want. The courts wouldn’t get involved. Nobody would. I could send Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines -anybody I want.
He’s talking about the Insurrection Act of 1807. Have no doubt. He will do it at some point. He cannot resist the attraction of unlimited dictatorial power.
still on the low side, in my opinion. fast food meals are about a dollar more than what i was paying a year ago. probably a healthy boost as i cut back, but inflation is all over the place. was shopping for shoes last night, and extremely surprised at the average price for a new pair today. and this was at a discount store like dws. tariffs are impacting inflation in significant ways, and people will see it in their pocketbooks in vary real terms over the next 6 months.
