Real Wages Rising in Wisconsin

For all private workers, as well as production and nonsupervisory:

Figure 1: Wisconsin average hourly wages for all private sector workers, in 2017M12$ (blue), for production and nonsupervisory workers (tan). Uses CPI for East North Central/Midwest, seasonally adjusted by author using X-13 (log transform). NBER defined peak-to-trough recession dates shaded gray. Source: BLS, and author’s calculations.

Figure 2: Year-on-year growth rate in Wisconsin average hourly wages for all private sector workers (blue), for production and nonsupervisory workers (tan). Uses CPI for East North Central/Midwest, seasonally adjusted by author using X-13 (log transform). Growth rates using 12 month log differences. NBER defined peak-to-trough recession dates shaded gray. Source: BLS, and author’s calculations.

So, with real wages rising and employment growth strong, Wisconsin seems to be in a good economic spot, a perception that is reflected in polls, in the aggregate.

Why the GOP Effort to Stop Biden’s Withdrawal Is Bogus

I noted earlier the very sick joke of a suggestion from Trump’s rear end wiper Mike Johnson but this is a very good discussion of why want Jhnson is saying is pure trash. The discussion closes with:

“it’s up to the party to decide whom it wants to nominate as its candidate.”

So Johnson – you and your MAGA party clowns. BUTT out. Then again Mike Johnson decided at the end of the 2020 election where the voters choose Biden – he and Trump had the right to overturn a fair election. So I guess this stunt was to be expected from this disgusting little clown.

But Harris did not keep the $6,000 from Trump. A spokesperson told the Sacramento Bee in 2020 that she donated the money to a “nonprofit that advocates for civil and human rights for Central Americans”

I bet that really ticked Trump off!

Oh gee – Ohio Republicans must be afraid Trump is going to lose. They are already preparing for a Civil War. Yea – the MAGA crowd are all a bunch of traitors.
